Software Defined Radios exhibit portability across platforms, reuse of common implementations, and dynamic configurability and reconfigurability among components, waveforms, and processing paths. SDRs can even make use of “Plug-n-Play” components.
Domain Manager Toolkit
The Harris dmTK is a toolkit that provides both run time components and offline support tools. The run time components consist of the Domain Manager (dmRE), its associated Knowledge Base (dmKB), a script utility (dmST), and an Install Service for registering other run time applications in the system. The tool set currently supports the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Software Communication Architecture (SCA). For more information, please visit the dmTK website.
