HAMR

HARRIS AIRBORNE MULTI-CHANNEL RADIO (HAMR)

The HAMR is the most capable two-channel wideband networking radio available for all fixed and rotary wing airborne platforms. The HAMR can deliver voice, high-speed IP-networked data, and full motion video (FMV) to warfighters at the tactical edge, taking advantage of tactical VHF/UHF networks to provide critical air-to-air and air-to-ground communications. HAMR enables interoperable communications between multiple waveforms and radios, including the entire Harris Falcon family of radios. The HAMR solution repackages two Falcon III AN/PRC-152A radios [the world’s most widely deployed, JTRS-approved, software communications architecture (SCA) compliant, software-defined radios] into an airborne form factor in the same SWaP as a traditional, single-channel airborne radio.

SSDL

SMALL SECURE DATA LINK (SSDL)

The Harris SSDL delivers voice, high-speed IP-networked data, and FMV to wideband, embeddable networking radios. The SSDL is a single-channel, lightweight, multiband, multimode, multimission radio developed for all embedded radio applications. As a result of its small SwaP, the unit easily embeds on small airborne platforms to provide voice, data, video, beyond-line-of-sight, and line-of-sight JTRS ad hoc networking.

The SSDL enables a wide variety of missions for the user, including ground-to-ground, ground-to-air, and air-to-air communications. The radio quickly and efficiently transmits mission-critical voice, data, and video in the most challenging communications environments. The SSDL is based on the battle-proven AN/PRC-152/152A Falcon III series of radios, the world’s most widely deployed JTRS-approved, SCA operating environment, software-defined radios.

STT

SMALL TACTICAL TERMINAL (STT)

The STT KOR-24A, codeveloped by Harris and ViaSat, is a two-channel radio designed to meet the needs of users who have SWaP constraints, but need to take advantage of the information available on tactical Link-16 and VHF/UHF networks.

In addition to its proven Link-16 heritage and capability, the STT provides interoperability with traditional narrowband waveforms, such as SINCGARS, HAVeqUICK II, and VHF/UHF AM and FM in the 30 to 512 MHz range. Additionally, the radio supports wideband (e.g., 1.2 MHz bandwidth) networking waveforms from 225 to 450 MHz. The STT repackages two of the Falcon III AN/PRC-152A radios (the world’s most widely deployed, JTRS- approved, SCA compliant, software-defined radios) into an airborne form factor in the same SWaP as a traditional single-channel airborne radio.
